B = boys and G = girls. The club has the right to register multiple teams in the same class.

The Mini cup

In our special “Minipark” the mini-tournament is played in separate age groups, all to create even conditions in the game. In addition, we are playing on mini playing fields with smaller goals.

The Mini Cup will be played Saturday-Monday.

The Youth cup

This is where you will find most of the participants in Eken Cup. When you are not playing handball then there are plenty of opportunities to make new contacts with other youths from Sweden and other countries. Eken Cup is the perfect ending of the handball season or the perfect beginning.

The Youth Cup will be played Saturday-Tuesday.

PS! The goal of the Youth Cup for G01 and B01 will have a lower cross bar!

The Junior cup

Junior tournament will be played Saturday and Sunday.

Eken Cup for seniors

Eken Senior Cup is a tournament for senior teams. Our hope is to encourage our neighbours in the Nordic countries as well as others around the Baltic to the handball game and friendly meetings in Stockholm.

Tournament will be played Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifying rounds

The teams are divided into groups of 4-6 teams, which all meet each other. 1st and 2nd place advance to the A-finals. The rest of the teams in the group will go to the B-finals (senior class only the A-finals).

Playoffs

Finals are played in a cup format.

Number of matches

The number of matches depends on the number of teams in the group. Our ambition is that all teams should play at least six matches.

Match length

Junior, Youth & Mini-Cup, 2 x 15 min

Senior Cup, 2 x 20 min (Group stage) 2 x 25 min (Playoffs)

Game field

Matches are played on grass playing fields and artificial turf with approved measurements. Mini Cup is played on mini playing fields, with appropriate goals.

Tournament jury

The tournament jury will be appointed by the organizer.

Referees

The referees will be appointed by the Stockholm Handball Referees Club. Eken Cup referees will be mostly from Sweden. We hope to have as many referees as always this year. Do you have someone in your organization who is interested please let us know.

Competition rules

Eken Cup will be played according to IHF’s rules, which means that glue is allowed and point selection is allowed in all classes (2005), where appropriate and SHF’s rules.

Exeption have been obtained for the change of playing time in Eken Cup.
Eken Cup is played in a group format, where all teams meet in a single series. The first two teams in each group advance to the A-finals, and the other teams go to the B finals. A-and B-finals are played according to a process of elimination. Ranking of teams in the group stage is determined as follows:
1 – Points
2 – Goal Difference
3 – Most goals scored.
4 – Results of the mutual meeting between the teams on equal points.
5 – Draw

Draw in the playoffs (with the exception of the A-finals) are determined by games for the first goal after drawing of lots for the return. Ties in A-finals will be determined by extension 2 x 3.5 minutes after the drawing of lots for the return. If the match still is evenly divided, the golden goal after drawing of lots for the return.

For Eken Cup seniors will be pending playoff games decided by extension 2 x 5 min, 2 x 5 minutes after drawing of lots for the return. Then free throws will decide.

WO-charges

The walk-over will be charged with a WO-fee SEK 1100: -.
