The club has the right to register multiple teams in the same class.
The Mini cup
Our mini cup is played in our special “Minipark” and in separate age classes. All to even out the conditions of the game. The mini cup is played with smaller goals according to the IHF rules.
The mini cup is played on Friday-Sunday.

The Youth cup
Here you’ll find most of Eken Cup’s participants. When you don’t play handball you’ll have the opportunity to talk and have fun with other youths from Sweden but also other countries. Eken Cup is the perfect final of a season and can also be the perfect start.
The youthcup is played Friday – Monday.
The Junior cup
The junior cup is played Saturday – Sunday.

Eken Cup for seniors
Eken Cup for seniors is an open international outdoors-tournament. Out ambition is to attract our neighbors in Scandinavia and around The Baltic Sea to come to Stockholm and play handball.
Eken Cup for seniors is played Saturday – Sunday.
Qualifying rounds
The teams are divided into groups of 4-6 teams where everyone meets everyone. The first and second team in the group goes through to A-finals. All the other teams goes to the B-finals (seniors only plays A-playoffs).
Finals
The finals are played according to a standard cup system.
Number of matches
The number of matches depends on the number of teams in the group. Our ambition is that all teams should play at least six matches.
Match length
Junior-, youth- & mini-classes, 2 x 15 minutes.
Seniorclasses, 2 x 20 minutes (group stages) 2 x 25 minutes (finals)
Surface
All matches are played on grass- or “plastic grass”-fields with approved dimensions. The mini-handball are played on fields with adjusted dimensions to fit the mini-handball.
Jury
The jury is set by the organizers.
Referees
Referees are decided by Stockholms Handball Referee Club.
The referees in Eken Cup are mainly from Sweden, but we also uses referees from Finland and Poland. We hope on an even wider range of different countries this year. If you have a referee in your club that’s interested, please contact us. Walter Cassebaum is responsible for referees.
Rules
Eken Cup is played according to IHF’s rules, which means that the adhesive is allowed and pointmarker is allowed in all classes (2005), as appropriate and SHF’s racing rules.
Waivers have been obtained for the change of game time in the Eken Cup.
Eken Cup, Eken Mini Cup and Eken Senior Cup are divided into groups, where all teams meet in a single series. The first two teams in each group moving on the A-finals, and the other team goes to the B-finals. A and B-finals are played under exclusion method. Ranking law in the group stage will be determined as follows:
1- Points
2 – Goal difference
3 – Most goals scored.
4 – Results of the peer meeting between teams on the same score.
5 – Drawing lot
Ties in playoff games (with the exception of the A-finals) is determined through the game for the first goal after drawing of lots for the turn. Ties A-finals will be determined by
extension 2 x 3.5 min after drawing of lots for the turn. If the match is still a draw, golden goal is played with drawing of lots for the turn.
For Eken Cup Seniors however, a draw playoff match will be determined by extension 2 x 5 min, 2 x 5 min after drawing of lots for the turn. Afther that, it’s penalty shootout.
WO-fees
If a team have to leave walk-over a fee of 1000 SEK per match is charged.
Registration
Registration to Eken Cup is made online via the registration form.
Payment is also made directly online via credit card or via bank.

Bring your own mattress and sleeping bag. You get free travels with the metro, by bus and commuter train in Stockholm.
Overnight at school 200 SEK /night
Lodging per night in school class room. Bring your own mattress and sleeping bag.
