Stockholm Eken Cup have after a board meeting, decided to work with UN:s child convention. Eken Cup have put emphasis on four(4) of the 41 articles in the UN Child convention, child labour, children’s safety and security, child participation and environment. Our goal is to create an arena(Stockholm Eken Cup) where children, teenagers and adults meets on equal terms.
In 2010 we will put specific emphasis on child labour. Amoungst other things we have asked our partners to communicate, what they doing to secure that is no child labour in their supplier’s production.
We are convinced that with these guarantees of the Child convention, the tournament going to be stronger and continue to grow.
