We had hoped that the restrictions would have been easened more by now, but currently a team can only play one game per week, outdoors, and travel should be avoided.
This means that during the current circumstances, Eken Cup cannot arrange a tournament and we can also not await potential further ease of restrictions as June is coming closer. We will refund paid registration fees.
We are however working with the Handball Federation East and the City of Stockholm to enable games to be played on prepared fields. The ambition is to book slots between June 15th and 22rd for registered teams with children born between 2004-2010 (only regular goals are available). This is currently valid for teams within the region of Stockholm. All teams may play one game (3×20 min) during these days. If you have questions or if there is no interest to play one game it is very important to send a message to info@ekencup.se. More details and information will be shared in the coming weeks.
