Saturday: The Lillpite girls have traveled over 1 000 kilometers to play Handball for four days. Lillpite, which is a bit northwest of Piteå in the Northern part of Sweden is the most northern participating team in this years Eken Cup. |

The morning starts off with a subway trip from Skärmarbrink - where they are spending their nights, to Gubbängen where 30 handball courts are waiting. First game 10:20 against Åkersberga ...... |

....... who was an easy pray. Victory by 8-5 and the dream of play-offs is starting to emerge. Lidingö was a tougher competitor. Their goalie shut the goal. Loss by 10-15. Afterwards the girls left the Gubbängs-field to gather their strength for the Sunday games. |

Sunday: After Saturday nights visit to the Gröna Lund Amusement park the sleep-in felt nice. The first game of the day was against Väntorp/Solna who proved to be a better team. Another loss by 10-15. As if that was not enough later on they met Skogås and lost by 11-17..... |

.....so now the aim is set for
the B-play-off but first there is a game against Atlas who is leading the group Monday
morning at 9.40. Table for Girls B
group 2. Monday: first game Monday was against Atlas and Lillpite fought them of bravely. Atlas who won the group only managed to win by 8-10. The B play-offs begun in the afternoon with a game against Skuru 2. Unfortunately Lillpite once again bit the grass. A 7-10 loss meant that this years Eken Cup adventure was over. |
